    Let me begin this by saying that within the past year I have said the words, “Gallows is one of the best fucking bands currently playing music.” I have seen them every single time they have come through Chicago. I have stage-dived. I have sang along. I have finger pointed and shook their hands…

    maaaan dreading that my dad is taking me to see them in november now. literally going to watch steph, lags and lee at this point.

    i’m annoyed by this, one person doesn’t make a band and this is all this situation seems to be based on. wade isn’t frank, so people are writing this off. the write up even says if people didn’t know who gallows were they would have owned the night, that says way too much right there. i understand loyalty to a band and the original lineup, and what that represented to some people, but a lot of this from what i’ve seen is just a bunch of frank stans not being able to cope with him parting ways with gallows. they’re moving on, writing new material and trying to get on with their lives. also, this whole “he’s canadian why is he singing for an english band?” is a bunch of bullshit, why does where wade is from matter? oh because they were so english, and now some corny ass, fat canadian dude is the frontman so he has no right to sing about england. grow up please, and open your ears for a second, music is music. it isn’t that hard to give this a real, solid chance before getting down on it so hard. for the record i’m not calling this review bullshit, i wasn’t there to see it with my own two eyes. so if anybody is going to come at me with that, save your fingers the trouble. i’m commenting on the clear attitude people have had since it was announced wade was joining this band. you’re all waiting for him to prove something to you, but he’s never going to do that if you have a shit attitude about it before even walking into the ap tour this fall.
